I’m Ethical!

Starting Thursday, I was stuck in the Business Administration Hall at TU.  I wasn’t there for my health, it was an ethics class.  After being there for 13 hours the first day, and 12 1/2 the second day, we finished it out with about 4 hours on Saturday.  We have a good speaker from Canada, and Walt Pavlo, who I’ve heard speak before.  We had to write a couple of little papers and do a presentation as a group.  All I have left is an individual assignment that’s due in a week and there’s my first MBA credit hour.  I hope I never have to do anything like that again.  It was extremely boring and pointless most of the time, and way too long.  I hope everyone had a better weekend, which isn’t hard to have.  School start tomorrow and I’m sure I’ll post how that goes.

Busy Day

Well it took a really long time to get my rental, which is a 2005 Dodge Neon.  I’m not excited by all means, but atleast it has air conditioning.  Next, I find out that the medication for Daisy is going to cost $755 for 5 weeks, so I paid for 2 weeks at $315.  Justin came home with his new Denali, which is very nice, and I will post some pictures of it due to his site having some php problems.  Lastly, I start school tomorrow morning at 7:45am and have to stay until 9pm.  Of course I’m not looking forward to this at all, and will let you know how the wonderful world of Ethics goes.  I hope everyone has a goodnight.

What’s new? Car, Site, and School

Ok, well I am trying to figure out my finances and hopefully get a car.  I am looking for something very entertaining to drive, something I look forward to driving since I rarely splurge on myself.  I am normally very conservative about buying things, but I think I deserve to get something I want.  With that being said, I am looking at getting a Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR-4.  Now I’ve been told that I should look at other cars, which I will, but I love these cars.  There’s one I’m looking at that is Pearl Yellow, which isn’t what I’d want, but it’s still cool looking.  Anyhow, if anyone knows of any cars that would be fun to drive or own (nice 3-series BMW, etc.) please let me know, it doesn’t have to be a sports car.  In other news, you can tell I changed the look of my website again, and once I have a few changes made, this will be the look for awhile.  Let me now if you like the theme, and the random joke from my favorite comedian (who I found out is dead =/ ), and the update on what my ladies have eaten last that they’re not supposed to.  I think random stuff like that is fun to see, and I may add other strange tidbits to the list or maybe make it another page? who knows.  So besides the search for a car and the new website, I am not looking forward to school starting in 2 weeks or so, and even less excited about the stupid 3 day ethics class before school starts.

Finals… Projects… New House

So lately I haven’t done anything exciting besides had some fun at McNellie’s. Finals are coming up (last day of classes are the 24th, then finals) and my last one is May 2nd. Between now and that last final, I have 3 papers/projects to finish, which I am not looking forward to doing. Then there’s moving into the new house ::justin(”):: and I are renting at about 57th and Yale. Then there’s graduation on May 6th, and the deadline of moving out the 8th. Just hope everyone is having a good month and I will update whenever I have anything interesting. Oh and thanks to ::justin(”)::, I have a BMX bike to ride, woo hoo!

Luau is over!

Well Luau was a great time again this year. Suprisingly my volleyball team won the B league, woo hoo! After the BBQ, the Ad book, and the volleyball money, I believe we are donating over $3000 to the special olympics this year. Of course I managed to cut myself like I normally do, but no major problems anytime during this year’s events. I’d have to say it was a great time. I believe I will still go to the one next year since I’ll being doing graduate school here, and hopefully won’t feel like the weird old guy. For those of you that missed it, I’m sorry, it was a blast. I don’t think ::scott(”):: and I got home on Saturday until close to 4 in the morning.  Anyhow, hope everyone had a great weekend.

Grad School!

Well for those of you that I do not regularly talk to (or have never talked to) I was accepted into graduate school for a Masters in Business Administration at TU! Woot. So I am trying to get a graduate assistantship in order to pay for school and have some money to live off of without having to get another job. I am of course looking for something that has to do with computers, so hopefully the ones that I am trying to get will come through or another means of payment (like this $300 million dollar powerball!)

School Update

I know I have not been on here lately, and that’s partially due to school. Schoo of course has started again, and my workload is starting to increase. I have several meeting that have to deal with my strategic management class, which seems like an alright class, just alot of busy work. Then the other class that is taking time is my senior project class.

GMAT: FINISHED!

Well today I took the GMAT over at a professional testing service at around 45th and Garnett. Well the cool thing was that when I arrived, they take my picture and make me lock my stuff up in a locker. I kind of felt like I was going into a secret area, since I had to lock all my items up, go over the terms, and get my finger print scanned so they have me on file.

GMAT

In 3 days, I am signed up to take the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test). I was able to borrow some books from a few friends that recently took the test. I took the practice test a few months ago, and got a feel for the test.
