I have a new bullmastiff named Zoe. I will add some more of her soon. But I can’t agree with you more. Dogs in general are awesome because they truly are your friend, regardless. My wife and I got our latest dog from a breeder in Missouri who had 14 puppies, unfortunately only 9 survived. I’ll make a post soon!

I sent you an e-mail via “contacts”, asking how to find photos of your dogs, before I found this photo along with the blog post. I have three dogs right now, two of them have been with me for over 11 years and the sands in the hour glass are running out for them. My new dog is turing two July 2011. She’s a pedigree Bullmastiff and I just met a guy who has a great grandson of the dog that stared in the movie Sand Lot Kids from 1993. He’s available for stud and may breed him with my “Gracie”. I can’t tell you how special my dogs have been in my life, true blessings from above. Sometime I feel ashamed that my feelings for my dogs are as strong as they are, but then you meet other dog/animal lovers and you know that’s those feelings are good. There’s not greater degree of devotion than that of our four legged friends. If you have more photo’s I’d love to see them! Ciao.

I appreciate everyone’s responses, and those that took time to send me a card. They really did help, and I just wanted to say thank you for your kind words. Not to mention, if Maggie ever gets online, she’ll be thankful too!

I haven’t met you, but I have no doubt Maggie Mae knows how much you love her. Your devotion and caring is clear from your words. May your heart heal quickly, but keep the gift of love you shared. How fortunate we are to have shared friendship and warm fuzzies with our dear companions.

I am definitely going to miss her as well. I’m damn sad because I was looking forward to hanging out with her when I came home for the holidays. My condolences bro.
