Doesn’t always work out as planned…

Well for some reason I have been real bothered lately. Things in school picked up, and I was trying to think about what direction I want to head my education and more importantly, my life. In addition, things are not going exactly the way I planned. Certain things with my friends that are bothering me, my family situation is different, and overall just not what I planned. But I am trying to focus on things I can control, and not to read too much into what goes on around me. It’s hard for me to ignore certain things, but I keep trying to rationalize people’s behaviors. It doesn’t seem to be working.

Another midterm coming up, then after that I am going to focus more on things that make me happy. I think my goal is to be happy and blow the things and people that bother me off. Oh and I will post how my midterms go when I get them back.

2006 BMW 330 Ci

Well I was getting tired of driving my car, so I got another BMW. This BMW 330Ci was at an MSRP of $48,100 after adding the Sports Package. Now I know what you’re saying, “HOW IN DA HELL?!?” Well what actually happened was that I brought my car into the Crown BMW Dealership and they were nice enough to give me a loaner for the day (I had to schedule for one ahead of time). I met the service consultant who I scheduled with, and found out that I recognized him from when I worked at Crown as a BMW porter. So anyhow, he gave me the keys, informed me how to get the top down, and sent me on my way. I ran all the errands I could think of seeing how I had the car for the day. Pictures below:

Gallon of Milk in 1 Hour, Now with Pictures!

So, you’ve heard of the gallon of milk in one hour myth! Well it’s stands as this: ::justin(”)::, ::scott(”):: and I tried to prove that you could accomplish this task in the time allotted. We we’re wrong. Justin was the first to go, drinking about 2/3 of his gallon and then vomitting. This wasn’t normal vomitting, it was Justin vomitting. Well I finally puked from a combination of seeing/smelling Justin vomit, and from the mexican food not settling well on my 1/2 a gallon. After I finished vomitting, I watched as Justin finished his gallon and then decided to return to puking. I stood behind Justin for a few photos while Casey snapped them off hoping to catch the glory! Scott had about 60% complete in his gallon when he decided to bring it back up. To sum it up, none of us did it (besides Justin completing it after he yaked). The pictures are posted below: (WARNING: May cause vomitting!)

Midterms and Estimates

Where to start?  Oh I have several midterms this week and next.  I have one part of my Accounting midterm on Thursday followed by my Macroeconomics later that day.  Then next week I have the second part of my Accounting midterm on Tuesday.  Good news today was that my Finance professor is giving us a take-home midterm on Monday (should be due in a week) instead of the scheduled one on Wednesday.

Bad news of the day: I was run into by a 17-18 year old kid in his Grandmother’s 1996 Lexus on the off ramp on 44.  We we’re traveling about 3-5 mph and for some reason he decided not to stop and ran into the back of my car.  So after dealing with his grandmother, I’ve been able to sneak my car into one shop for an estimate and will run to two more shops early tomorrow morning to get this out of the way.  Of course I’m not pleased at all, and it distracted me enough that I wasn’t able to keep my mind on school for a few hours.  None the less, it should be taken care of soon (let’s hope).  I somehow think it was karma from something I’ve done that has brought these complications in my life.  I’m begging that no more unpleasantries entry my life, but maybe that’s a lot to ask.
