Goodbye Daisy Mae

As of 10:00 a.m. this morning, Daisy Mae is no longer with us. She was a good dog, even the people at the Vet talked about how nice and sweet she was. I am sad for my mother most of all because she was so close to Daisy. Maggie hasn’t seemed to realize (if she will) what happened to her sister or where she’s gone. Just makes me sad to see my dog lying there not moving, not wagging her tail. But I believe Daisy is better off and I know she knows we love her. She will be missed.

We all loved Daisy. She was the biggest baby ever, yet she still thought she should be a lap dog half the time. She was always so sweet, and a joy to be around. I’m sorry to see her go as well, Nick. Maggie will probably act a little different for a while, or maybe she understood that her sister was in pain and she kind of knew it was coming… We never know how much they understand really.
