So I was trying to hurry and make it to my house to meet the adjuster and I get pulled over in a school zone. I’m not quite sure how fast I was going, but I know it was faster than 5 mph over, which is what he wrote me for. I thanked him for lowering it so much and he informed me I still had to go to court. That sucks, but it’s a good trade off. So I get home, and the adjuster is here, and we go about looking at my car. He puts how much it would cost to replace just 1 door, and that was around $900. This was about 45% of what the average cost of my car is worth. He said he was just going to stop since he still had another door, the back panel of the car, and the middle of the frame. Then he informed me he would take off for the “hail” damage and the cracked windshield. He also told me that half of my car was in better than normal condition called “dealer ready”. So I am hoping to get a good number out of my car. Besides that, the ticket sucks, but as much as I speed, I deserve it/ it was bound to happen. Second day of Finance, and I have already figured out that my electives that give me an “emphasis” in that area is going to be finance. I think that would be the most useful to me in the future.
SLOW IT DOWN SUCKA! At least the guy was nice, like you said. School zone tickets suck major ballz from what i’ve heard.
Buy a radar detector and get a HAM license!
I’m not sure that would have helped seeing as how I didn’t know the light was on, which drops the speed limit from 35 to 25. The radar detector doesn’t detect me being dumb.
I got so scared reading this one. You need to slow down I couldnt stand the fact of losing you. Im so glad your okay after all that has happened. I hope you had a good time last night I know I did.
