Mother’s Day

There’s the usual flowers, and taking your mother out to dinner. I am unfortunately not near my mother to take her out to dinner, but was greatful she was spending the day at the beach. Instead, I have arranged a gift that will arrive shortly because I do not plan ahead. So what did I do on Mother’s Day? Went out to eat with Justin and his mother. The reason I was so amazed by our lunch was thus; there was a HUGE amount of people waiting to eat at 1 o’clock in the afternoon at Golden Corral!

Ok, well you might be thinking, hey it’s mother’s day, but look at where we went. We waited over an hour, with the line on both sides going out of the doors for seats. Most people we’re getting out of church/temple whatever they were doing (I’m sure most, if not all we’re church), but the amount of people was baffling. We arrived, waited, and sat down. After we we’re done and leaving, the line wasn’t any shorter than when we arrived. Anyhow, just wanted to share something that puzzled me. Happy Mother’s Day to all you mothers!
