Movies to see

I just recently watched Xmen: The Last Stand, and will hopefully watch it again very soon. I enjoyed every minute of it, and having loved Xmen the cartoons and comics, I feel the movie represented each character’s abilities justly. Besides that, I’ve seen a few movies that I am going to go see when they come out. Here are a few of the ones I saw that look interesting:

Time for a change

Well let’s see what’s new. I got my car fixed pretty well by master mechanic ::scott(”)::. He did a great job checking and trying to fix, and the amount of time he spent troubleshooting and working on my car was greatly appreciated. So after mastering my struts, I have asked ::scott(”):: to help me look for a new car (new to me that is). I am looking for a jeep wrangler, a YJ or CJ or something J, I’m not sure, but I want a new car, and a fun one at that. ::justin(”):: and I have started working out with Casey, and I am extremely sore, but not regretting it at all. Besides that, ::justin(”):: and I are working on our house this weekend, hopefully we can get a lot done. He also informed me that he is working on a new layout for my site, and it’s awesome looking. The aquarium is now setup in the house and there’s a lot of cool little fishies swimming in our living room. Other than that, I am reading books on Ruby (more specifically Ruby on Rails) and hopefully will soon be able to start punching out some useful code. Thanks again to ::scott(”):: for fixing my crappy car and I hope soon I will be driving something a little more reliable and definately a little more fun.

Mother’s Day

There’s the usual flowers, and taking your mother out to dinner. I am unfortunately not near my mother to take her out to dinner, but was greatful she was spending the day at the beach. Instead, I have arranged a gift that will arrive shortly because I do not plan ahead. So what did I do on Mother’s Day? Went out to eat with Justin and his mother. The reason I was so amazed by our lunch was thus; there was a HUGE amount of people waiting to eat at 1 o’clock in the afternoon at Golden Corral!

House

So ::justin(”):: and I have moved in, and we have a few rooms that are almost completely setup. The main project of course is getting our office area together and wiring the house with CAT 5 because of course we are geeks and we need our bandwidth. Once that is setup, we’ll be able to relax and enjoy upgrading our home, which I hope we get reimbursed for most of it. I’m liking the house, and can’t wait until I get Daisy and Maggie because they are AWESOME. Lastly, I am going to go get my car inspected so ::scott(”):: knows what to fix on it, since it’s not replacing the part that’s the problem, but the diagnostics. Today, I leave you with a quote from one of my favorite animated characters, Strong Bad!

Birthday!

So yes, today is my birthday, and I just got online at my new house since cox just came. What’s new? I graduated cum laude on Saturday, and got to see my entire immediate family which was needed. My brother informed me his daughter will be arriving from the stork around mid July, so I will be Uncle Nick soon, crazy. Congrats to that man because he’s about to be father to Madison Paige Switzer. I personally said the child’s name should be Bok Choy, but not everyone agreed with me. Anyhow, ::justin(”):: and I have a lot of unpacking to do, and cleaning/organizing of the house. Other than that, I will learning a new programming language, going to the gym, and hanging out this summer until it’s time to see my neice. So, it might be another couple of days before I make another post on here, but I will be getting back to regular posts soon. Oh and more good news, my mother informed me that ::justin(”):: and I will be able to pickup the dogs anytime after June 13th, so I will be running around with Daisy and Maggie soon! I will have pictures of my graduation soon (I think I’ll get a flickr account). Anyways, thanks for those that came to my graduation.
