So lately I haven’t done anything exciting besides had some fun at McNellie’s. Finals are coming up (last day of classes are the 24th, then finals) and my last one is May 2nd. Between now and that last final, I have 3 papers/projects to finish, which I am not looking forward to doing. Then there’s moving into the new house ::justin(”):: and I are renting at about 57th and Yale. Then there’s graduation on May 6th, and the deadline of moving out the 8th. Just hope everyone is having a good month and I will update whenever I have anything interesting. Oh and thanks to ::justin(”)::, I have a BMX bike to ride, woo hoo!
I know each and every one of you have had your parents tell you not to do something, which you thought of at the time to be dumb. “Don’t run with scissors”, “brush your teeth before you go to bed”, “wash behind your ears”, etc. Most of these I did listen and adhere to these suggestions, but for some reason last night, I ignored one. Which one you might you ask? “Do not eat raw cookie dough!” For some reason I thought I was immune to this one, and decided to eat the amount of chocolate chip cookie dough that would make roughly around 10-12 cookies. I am feeling the consequences this morning, and just wanted to apologize to my mother for not listening to her on this one. Funny how things come back to bite you in the ass.
Well Luau was a great time again this year. Suprisingly my volleyball team won the B league, woo hoo! After the BBQ, the Ad book, and the volleyball money, I believe we are donating over $3000 to the special olympics this year. Of course I managed to cut myself like I normally do, but no major problems anytime during this year’s events. I’d have to say it was a great time. I believe I will still go to the one next year since I’ll being doing graduate school here, and hopefully won’t feel like the weird old guy. For those of you that missed it, I’m sorry, it was a blast. I don’t think ::scott(”):: and I got home on Saturday until close to 4 in the morning. Anyhow, hope everyone had a great weekend.
So it’s about that time of the year when I need to order another box of contacts to last me another 6 months. Well for some reason, my prescription is not valid anymore, and I cannot order any contacts without a proper prescription. I don’t want to spend $100 + the cost of contacts for a box. My eyes haven’t changed and I JUST WANT SOME CONTACTS! Anyhow, I believe 1-800-Contacts requires a valid prescription, atleast they did last time, and I think I’m S.O.L. I’m going to try again since ::justin(”):: insists they do not. But if anyone knows of a place that I can order some Acuvue Advanced contacts without a prescription, since I don’t have $100 to throw away, please let me know.
