I personally do not vote. But it’s not because I’m lazy or I don’t think my vote will matter, I have an actual reason for not voting. You see I do not feel that I know enough information about the candidate’s views to accurately gauge the person. I feel that many people are in the same boat as me, but vote anyhow. I compare this to a poll I took on my away message on AIM. What was this poll? It was a simple question, “is he bazooka proof?”
Well, I haven’t posted to my site in a very long time. I’ve been busy with a few things. First of all, school is now 4-5 group projects. It’s annoying to have to meet with everyone, but atleast most of my group members help out and it’s not just me that cares about the grade. Second, I’ve been at work when I’m not in class, and then of course there’s still the search for a house. We’ve been introduced to a man who owns a decent looking house that we’re going to setup an appointment soon. I did however manage to be so dumb as to bite my phone at break my display on the outside and half on the inside. Oh, and if I haven’t told everyone, I have been offered a Graduate Assistantship at my work, but haven’t signed the papers yet (because they haven’t been drafted). I can’t really think of anything else that has happened, but will try to update a lot sooner.
So for spring break, I was lucky enough to be able to go visit my mother and my brother. To my suprise, my father is going to be in Houston for a day or two when I get there. As of right now, ::justin(”):: and I are at my mom’s house in Bradenton, Florida. The trip down here took us a few hours less than what mapquest said, which we would have been down here faster except for a few things.Â
We ran into some rain when we were driving through Alabama for around 3 hours straight. That made passing Semi’s very very scary and hard. We also had someone throw a shoe at us while we were driving. Don’t know if it was intentional or not, but I ran over one, and the other bounced off the passanger side window where ::justin(”):: freaked out. We arrived safely in the morning on Friday after leaving at around noon on Thursday.
So, for the past few days we’ve gone sailing, which was a great time, and today we went to the beach. For the next couple of days, we’re looking into diving, parasailing, renting a couple of jetski’s and maybe deep sea fishing. Not sure what exactly we’re doing, but those are a few options. Then we’ll be in Houston for a few days before we have to eventually go home. I’ll write something about what we’re doing as soon as we do it. Also, check out ::justin(”)::’s website to see pictures on his flickr, or you can look at zeruck’s photo’s and see some of the ones that have been resized already.
