Well today I took the GMAT over at a professional testing service at around 45th and Garnett. Well the cool thing was that when I arrived, they take my picture and make me lock my stuff up in a locker. I kind of felt like I was going into a secret area, since I had to lock all my items up, go over the terms, and get my finger print scanned so they have me on file.
Well I walk in, and I take start the test. I am given a pair of earplugs, a pen, and noteboard to write on. I don’t take the full time on the essays and I’m feeling pretty good. Next up comes the Quanitative (math) part.
Well, I decide I should double check (sometimes even triple) all my answers. Before I realize it, I have a minute left and 8 questions out of 37 to complete. Well needless to say, I didn’t get to answer 7 of those, I believe. That didn’t make me happy.
Next was the Verbal section, and I complete that with around 20 minutes to go. I click next, nervous that those 7 questions ruined my score, but I end up with a 580 out of 800. True this is not exactly what I was wanting, but if I factor in the questions I didn’t get to answer, I’m pretty happy.
With my score above the required 500 mark, I am gathering all my materials needed to apply to Graduate school here at The University of Tulsa. I finished my resumé and now only need my 3 letters of recommendation. I will definately let everyone know when I get a response back from the school.
Big pimpin Nick! I knew you could do it. I think I would score a 73 or something close to that.
