GMAT

In 3 days, I am signed up to take the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test). I was able to borrow some books from a few friends that recently took the test. I took the practice test a few months ago, and got a feel for the test.

I don’t really study hard for tests and I’m not quite sure why. I try to motivate myself enough to study, but I always come up with some excuse for not studying as much as I think I should. Also, with standardized tests such as this as well as the ACT and SAT, I convince myself that there is no reason to study because the questions will change.

Well I finally motivated myself enough to start studying this time. Partially because I don’t want to screw up (the test costs $250) and I feel that if I don’t do any studying, I will use that as an excuse of why I didn’t get higher on my score. Either way, I will let you all know how well I did, or tell you I need to retake it if my score is that low. Wish me luck!

W00T! Nick, you’re gonna kick ass on that test. You’ve gotta be one of the smartest people I know so there’s not chance of screwing it up. I’ll have to avoid taking you out drinking until after the test… But next weekend you owe me a few drinks for fixing your car! And we’ll replace that motor mount on Friday probably.

    PEACE OUTSIDE!

Thanks, Scott. Also, for anyone that is going to take the GMAT, I recommend using The Princeton Review books. So far, these have been the easier to understand and the best for me to study with. I will let you all know how my test goes tomorrow. Thanks for the support.
